(Washington, D.C.) Fourth District Rep. Mike Ross (D-AR) Wednesday
announced he has launched a new and improved congressional website that
is more accessible and provides more informative content to his constituents
and other interested parties. Ross’s website may be viewed at www.house.gov/ross
“The Internet is increasingly becoming a more viable and popular mechanism
for the public to access information,” said Ross. “That is why I am proud
to announce the launching of my new congressional website, which is more
user-friendly and informative for my constituents.”
Among the new features on Ross’s website include a more systematic way
for constituents to arrange meetings with the Congressman, and more accessible
links for communities and organizations to acquire information on applying
for grants, small business loans, and federal disaster assistance. The
site also includes links to casework services Ross’s office can provide
to constituents, including help with pending Social Security administration
claims, problems involving the Internal Revenue Service, and assistance
with student loans.
A link to the Photo Gallery contains pictures of constituents who visit
Ross in Washington, and participate in events with the Congressman in the
district. And the “Kids Corner” provides fun and educational links for
children. And by visiting the site, constituents can sign-up for Ross’s
“Washington Update,” his weekly electronic newsletter that provides constituents
information on his weekly congressional activities.
“Communicating with my constituents and helping them get what they need
from the federal government is one of my top priorities, and I hope the
people of Arkansas’s Fourth Congressional District will find my new website
more useful in getting this information,” said Ross. |
