(Washington, D.C.) Senators Mark Pryor and Blanche Lincoln and Congressmen
Marion Berry, Vic Snyder, John Boozman, and Mike Ross today announced $556,560
in federal funding to supplement the elderly and persons with disabilities
statewide buses and vans program.
Members of the Arkansas Congressional delegation said the funding, part
of a $10 million earmark the delegation secured in the Fiscal Year 2004
Omnibus Appropriations Act, will supplement the procurement of vans and
small buses for Arkansas' community service organizations serving the elderly
and persons with disabilities.
