Pryce Celebrates Homeland Security Funding for Marysville Fire Department

Columbus – Congresswoman Deborah Pryce (R-15) issued the following statement regarding the $675,000 grant to the Marysville Fire Department for use toward the purchase of a new firefighting vehicle:

“Homeland security starts at the local level with neighborhood police and fire departments. They have the solemn responsibility to ensure the safety and security of residents and the federal government must support them in that role,” said Pryce. “Marysville has a growing population and the fire department needs to be able to keep up with the needs of the community. I’m happy to see that our Homeland Security dollars are being spent in such practical ways.”
