Pryce Announces Community Medicare
Workshops
Washington, D.C.
—U.S. Representative Deborah Pryce (R-OH-15) announced two Medicare
workshops will be held on Monday March 22, 2004 at the Wesley Glenn
Retirement Community and at the First Community Village in Columbus.
The Medicare
workshops will be opened to those with an interest in gaining an
overview of the new prescription drug law. The law will provide seniors
in Ohio with access to a voluntary, comprehensive, affordable
prescription drug benefit, while preserving their choice in healthcare
coverage for the first time. Questions concerning the law will be
answered by Congresswoman Pryce and a representative from the Department
of Health and Human Services. These community workshops are designed to
educate the public on the new health care options that will be available
to seniors this spring and in the coming months.
