Pryce: Kerry MIA in Congress
Washington, DC— Congresswoman
Deborah Pryce (R-OH-15) issued the following statement today:
“I’m glad that John Kerry thinks he has mastered the job of being a
Democrat candidate, because as a Senator he is failing miserably,” said
Pryce.
“Kerry has missed 237 roll call votes
leaving the fate of pressing legislation to wait on his campaign. Does
his own political future take precedence over the needs of the American
people? When it comes to serving in Congress, Kerry is MIA.”
“If he can’t handle his duties in the
Senate, he isn’t cut out for the White House. Before Kerry makes another
stump speech about what he WILL do for Americans, remember what he COULD
have done for Americans, but didn’t.”
Congresswoman Pryce, the fourth ranking
member of House Leadership, served as a member of the House Select
Homeland Security Committee and helped draft the bill creating the
Department of Homeland Security. The Congresswoman represents the
Fifteenth District of Ohio, which includes Western Franklin County,
Madison, and Union Counties.
