Woman's History Month Middle School Essay Contest
< Back to Community Corner
During the month of March, Rep. Levin invited Middle School students throughout the 12th Congressional District to participate in a special essay submission in celebration of Women’s History month.

The students were asked to write an essay identifying a woman in Michigan’s history that inspired them. Students were welcome to write on a historical figure, a contemporary figure and/or someone in their own families.

Certificates of special congressional recognition will be awarded to all participants who submitted an essay. An essay will be chosen for each grade level and will be featured on my congressional website community corner.
