Etheridge Provides Information On Assisting Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts

RALEIGH - U.S. Rep. Bob Etheridge (D-Lillington) announced today that he has created a page on his website at www.house.gov/etheridge to provide information on the latest developments on Hurricane Katrina and ways that North Carolinians can help with the recovery.

"Like all Americans, I offer my deepest condolences to the victims of Hurricane Katrina and their families," said Etheridge. "North Carolinians know first hand the devastation that hurricanes can cause. When our own state was victimized by Hurricanes Floyd, Fran and others, Americans generously helped with the recovery efforts. Many North Carolinians now stand ready to show the same generosity to the victims of Hurricane Katrina."
