Etheridge Applauds Boon Edam Tomsed Expansion in Harnett County

WASHINGTON - U.S. Rep. Bob Etheridge (D-Lillington) today hailed the announcement that Boon Edam Tomsed Inc. plans to expand business operations in Lillington, creating 60 new jobs and investing $4.2 million in Harnett County's economy over the next three years.

"This is great news for Lillington and Harnett County!" Etheridge said. "These jobs will bring opportunity to our community and continue to grow our economy. Boon Edam Tomsed is investing not only in North Carolina, but in our workers, our families and our communities. The hardworking folks of Harnett County and the strength of our community helped make this opportunity a reality. Boon Edam Tomsed Inc. is a manufacturer of turnstiles, revolving doors and crowd control products. The company will be consolidating its facilities in California and Utah and relocating them to the existing 60,000 square-foot facility in Lillington.
