CAMP® & AVIATION
CHALLENGE®
Founded in 1982,
SPACE CAMP and AVIATION CHALLENGE (1990),
located in Huntsville, Alabama, use space
and aviation as a platform to excite and
educate children ages 7-18, in the fields
of math, science and
technology.
SPACE CAMP
programs range from 3 to 13 days, during
which teamwork, self confidence and
communication will be achieved through
state-of-the-art simulations, missions,
rocket building and
robotics.
AVIATION
CHALLENGE programs range from 3 to 13
days, during which teamwork, self
confidence and communication will be
achieved through state-of-the-art high
performance jet simulation, scenario-
based missions, land and water survival
training and flight
dynamics.
In addtion to
program-specific training, attendees will
experience all that the U.S. Space &
Rocket Center Museum has to
offer.
The cost of the
camp includes all meals, lodging, program
materials and activities. SPACE CAMP and
AVIATION CHALLENGE have 24-hour medical
and security staff on site.
