Congressman Todd Akin Praises President Bush's Nomination of John C. Danforth as U.S. Representative to the United Nations
Washington, D.C. - Today, Congressman Todd Akin praised President Bush's announcement that he intends to nominate John C. Danforth of Missouri to be Representative of the United States to the United Nation.
"It is gratifying to see that President Bush has chosen to nominate one of the nation's most respected statesmen to be the new U.S. representative to the United Nations.
"As well as being a source of pride for Missouri, President Bush's choice of John Danforth as U.N. Ambassador will serve the nation well."
