Congressman Akin Donates Flag to March to the Arch

St. Louis, Mo. - Congressman Akin commends citizen action in commemorating those lost in the terror attacks of September 11th and donates flag flown over the U.S. Capitol to the March to the Arch organizer Bo Drochelman.

For the second year Bo Drochelman is walking approximately 21 miles to the St. Louis Arch in remembrance of those lost in the Sept 11th terror attacks. This year he is inviting others to join him in the memorial march, in which marches will be carrying American flags. The flag which was presented to Bo Drochelman today was flown over the U.S. capitol.

"The community spirit and patriotism shown by Bo Drochelman and those joining him in today's march demonstrates the deep sorrow of Americans at the remembrance of the most deadly and destructive terrorist attack on our country's soil," said Akin. "It also demonstrates the resiliency of the American spirit and a commendable sense of patriotism."
