Congressman Akin to Visit USO During Height of Holiday Travel
St. Louis, MO- On December 20th, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., Congressman Todd Akin will visit with military personnel at the James McDonnell United Service Organization (USO) at Lambert- St. Louis International Airport. During the 20th of December thousands of U.S. military personnel travel home for the Holidays. The USO at Lambert typically serves thousands of military travelers during the so-called “Exodus”.
WHAT:
Congressman Todd Akin, a member of the House Armed Services Committee, will meet with military personnel at the USO. Thousands of military travelers are expected to pass through Lambert Airport. The USO estimates that it served over 3,000 military travelers last year.
