Town Hall Meetings on Homeland Security
Second District residents to voice concerns and opinions about homeland security
St. Louis, Mo.- Congressman Todd Akin will host a town hall meeting on homeland security Monday, December 3rd in the Edward Jones Auditorium at 12555 Manchester Rd. The forum will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Akin will be available for interviews after the forum. Some local, state and federal officials will also attend the event.
Akin will also participate in a town hall meeting and panel discussion of homeland security at St. Charles Community College. The town hall meeting will be from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Local health experts, Red Cross representatives and fire and rescue officials will participate in the forum.
WHAT: Congressman Akin will participate in two town hall meetings on homeland security. Second District residents will be able to voice concerns regarding potential terrorist attacks.
WHEN St. Louis County: From 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Edward Jones Auditorium at 12555 Manchester Road. St. Charles: From 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in rooms 206-207 at St. Charles Community College. 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive.
