Akin to Tour St. Charles County Not-for-Profits
Congressman will make a grant announcement and donate computer
St. Louis, Mo.- On Monday, November 5th Congressman Todd Akin will visit both the St. Charles office of Youth in Need and the Boone Center.
Akin will visit the Youth in Need Office at 400 N. Fifth Street in St. Charles at 9 a.m. to announce a $394,175 grant from Health and Human Services for expanding and enhancing their mentoring program for at-risk youth.
Later, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Akin will visit the Boone Center at 200 Trade Center Drive West, St. Peters, Mo. 63376. During the visit, Akin will donate a computer to the center. The computer became available while upgrading Akin’s congressional office system.

Congressman Akin will visit two St. Charles County not-for-profit organizations. He will announce a grant for Youth in Need and donate a computer to the Boone Center.
WHEN?
Akin will be at Youth in Need at 9 a.m. and at the Boone Center at approximately 10:30 a.m.
WHERE?
Youth in Need is at 400 N. Fifth Street. Boone Center at 200 Trade Center Drive West, St. Peters.
