Akin Will Make Back-To-School Visit
Congressman’s office to donate three computers for classroom use
St. Louis, Mo.- Congressman Todd Akin will visit two Special School District classrooms on Monday, Aug. 27. Akin will visit Neuwoehner School at 10:00 a.m. to discuss educational needs in the Second District.
During the visit Akin will donate three computers to the special school district for classroom use. The computers became available while upgrading Akin’s office system.
“Education will be a priority when Congress returns after the August recess,” said Akin. “Local control and flexibility with the use of federal funds are important elements for a successful education plan. I look forward to listening to teachers and students as they settle in for the new school year.”
Following the visit to Neuwoehner School, the congressman will visit a Special School District classroom at Highcroft Ridge Elementary School in the Parkway School District.

WHEN? Rep. Akin’s visit will commence at 10 a.m. at Neuwoehner School and will proceed immediately following the visit to Highcroft Ridge Elementary School.
