Congressman Participates in Accessibility Tour
Service and access are priorities of congressman Akin.
(St. Louis, Mo.)-Congressman Akin (R-Missouri) will participate in an accessibility tour of the Second District. The tour will begin on Thursday, February 15th at the Creve Coeur Business Exposition, and culminate with an open house at the newly opened St. Louis district office on Saturday, February 24th. The open house will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Creve Coeur office (1023 Executive Parkway St. Louis, Mo. 63141). A press conference will be held at 10:00 am.
“I intend for access and service to be hallmarks of my tenure as Congressman for the Second District,” said Akin.
On Thursday, February 15th Congressman Akin will:
• Meet with Creve Coeur Businesses at the Creve Coeur Business Exposition
• Meet with 2004 officials at Rams Park
Friday, February 16
• Attend the policy meeting at the Regional Commerce and Growth Association
• Meet with Independent Electrical Contractors
• Participate in 102nd Annual Missouri Lincoln Day at Hyatt Regency in Union Station
Saturday, February 17
• Participate in 102nd Annual Missouri Lincoln Day at Hyatt Regency in Union Station
• Available for interviews 10:00 am at Hyatt Regency
Tuesday, February 20
• Tour Bridgeway Treatment and Domestic Violence Center in St. Charles
• Tour Cuivre River Electric Coop at Lake St. Louis
• Tour King Safety Products at O’Fallon Technical Park
• Tour the Winehaven Facility in St. Charles
• Meet with elected O’Fallon officials at O’Fallon City Hall
Wednesday, February 21
• Tour Boeing Missile Defense Plant in St. Charles

The Congressman will hold a press conference at 10:00 am, February 24th, at the District Office to discuss the accessibility tour and priorities for the 107th congress.
