Welcome to the
Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction

The Office of Victim Services provides information regarding the status of Ohio inmates in prison or under supervision of the Department's Adult Parole Authority.  If you are a victim of a crime and would like to register for notification regarding an Ohio inmate, click here.

  • Reentry Services for offenders begin at the time of the offender’s incarceration.  To support families, the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction's (ODRC) Reception Centers offer family orientation for family members when their loved ones are first incarcerated.  In addition, the Department removed visitation barriers for families by streamlining the visitor application process and permitting the "extended" family member immediate access to their loved one.  The ODRC Family Council was formed and the family members of incarcerated, and formerly incarcerated offenders, sit on the council and provide the ODRC insight and direction in policy development and family related matters.  Director Collins, through a letter to employees and colleagues, has reaffirmed the ODRC Family Council and will serve as the Chair of the Council.  Dr. Randi Love, Ph.D will serve as the co-chair.
