There are many
important legislative issues facing Congress today. As we consider and
debate these issues, there are some principles that I believe reflect
the beliefs and interests of my constituents. Some of these principles

EDUCATION:
I believe that every citizen is entitled to a quality elementary and
secondary public education and that continuing and higher education
should be available to all who seek it, regardless of their economic
status.
ENVIRONMENT:
I believe that protecting our environment should be among our highest
priorities and oppose proposals before Congress that could have
devastating impacts on the environment and many of the nation's most
precious natural resources. |
