Congressman Wamp to Discuss Current Initiatives Underway at Technology Council Event

As the kick-off event to the Engineers Week 2004, the Chattanooga Technology Council and Chattanooga Engineers Club are co-sponsoring a program luncheon, which will include a presentation by Congressman Zach Wamp, welcoming remarks and an introduction by Hamilton County Mayor Claude Ramsey, and opening remarks from Center for Entrepreneurial Growth Director John Riddell. The program will begin at 11:30 EST on Monday, February 23, 2004 at the Chattanooga Trade and Convention Center.

Congressman Wamp will discuss the current initiatives underway concerning the Tennessee Valley Technology Corridor and the efforts to connect the Technology Corridor. Specifically, Congressman Wamp will provide an update of the programs currently in place and discuss his vision for the Technology Corridor and how Chattanooga fits within that vision in 2004 and 2005.

The program is open to all members of the public. The cost is $10.00 for members of the Chattanooga Technology Council and $20.00 for non-members.  The Chattanooga Technology Council is a non-profit organization devoted to promoting the growth of technology businesses and education through the greater Chattanooga area.
