The American family forms the social, economic, and moral backbone of our country.  We must promote pro-family laws that uphold and strengthen this sacred institution.

As the father of two teenagers, I know the financial burdens that raising children place on families.  That is why I am a cosponsor of H.R. 3080, the Parents' Tax Relief Act.  This bill would provide needed relief for families by expanding and making permanent the Child Tax Credit, eliminating the marriage penalty at all tax levels, and providing a tax credit for parents who stay at home to care for their children.

Parents instill the values that are passed on from one generation to the next.  We need to do all we can to help them carry out this invaluable duty.
