I came to Washington to reduce the size and scope of the federal government and have remained one of the most fiscally conservative members of the House of Representatives.  Federal employees who report government waste or fraud should be protected from retaliation.

H.R. 3281, The Whistle Blower Protection Enhancement Act, will clarify which disclosures of information are protected from retaliation, and also strengthen the review process for employees when information is disclosed.

The Committee on Government Reform recently approved this bill and I look forward to supporting it when it comes to the House floor for a vote.  As a Member of the House Appropriations Committee, I demand accountability for how your hard-earned tax dollars are spent.
