I wholeheartedly believe that life begins at conception and support any efforts to educate others about pro-life issues.  Our Constitution already protects life, and I have sworn to uphold the Constitution.  The unborn are the most innocent and vulnerable members of our society and their right to life must be protected.

 On May 19th, I joined 221 of my colleagues to defeat Representative Susan Davis’s amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act.  This poorly conceived amendment would have allowed abortions in military hospitals and used taxpayer money to subsidize the cost of abortions.
