Statement from Congressman Zach Wamp about the Department of Labor?s decision to implement resource centers to help facilitate claims for the Energy Employees Compensation Program.

"These resource centers will give our Cold War veterans in the Oak Ridge area the convenience of having a local contact to process their claims. Sick workers will have their claims processed more quickly and get the compensation they deserve. I am glad to see that the Department of Labor is not only going to handle the claims for the Energy Employee Compensation Program, but they are also trying to speed up the process. I appreciate Secretary Chao's willingness to work with us."
