We need to do everything we can to bolster the morale of the brave men and women serving in the United States Armed Forces who are around the globe.  Staying in touch with families and friends back home improves the quality of life for our troops. 

That is why I have decided to cosponsor the Mailing Support to Troops Act.  This bill will relieve some of the financial and emotional hardship military families suffer from being separated from loved ones by providing free mail service between troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, and their families. 

America owes so much to the brave servicemen and women protecting our freedom everyday.  Helping them communicate with the people they love the most is the least we can do.
