The stability of our nation depends on following the great vision of the founding fathers.  The Constitution serves as an outline of that vision, and clearly states in Article II:

"No Person except a natural born Citizen...shall be eligible to the Office of President."

A bill has been introduced which would amend the Constitution to make foreign born citizens eligible for President.  Amending the Constitution is a serious matter, and should be done only when absolutely necessary.  It is neither necessary nor appropriate to amend the Constitution for this purpose, and I will oppose this bill if it comes before the House of Representatives for a vote.

I support the founding fathers' vision of America.  It has provided the nation with outstanding leadership throughout our history.
