MARADMIN 203/06 announced the cancellation of the 7400 Warfighting
MCI and changes for Enlisted Marines who wish to enroll in Officer PME.

ALMAR 026/06 announced the continuation of the policy waiving the
PME prerequisite for SNCO promotions throughout FY07. The ALMAR
states that PME will still be considered as a factor in determining the
Marines best qualified for promotion. All Marines are encouraged to
strive to complete PME requirements for their grade.
5. The FY 2006 SNCO Academy Course Dates and quota
assignments have been released in
MARADMIN
375/05.
6. Waivers for prerequisites to the Enlisted Distance Education
Programs can be requested from the Deputy Director of EPME. Take a look at the
procedures for getting a waiver by clicking on the Distance
Education Programs link to your left. (Waiver procedures are near
the bottom of the page.) Marines who are interested in enrolling
in Officer Distance Education Programs should now forward their waivers to
the College of Continuing
Education. Specific directions for completing the waiver
process can be found
here.

247/05 announced the transition of the AWSDEP (MCI 8510/8600) to
the EWSDEP (8650). Enlisted Marines who are affected by this transition
and are attending a regional seminar must contact their CCE Regional
Coordinator. Enlisted Marines who are taking the course by MCI must
contact the
Enlisted PME Branch representative.
8. MARADMIN
166/04 sets the requirements for 03XX Staff Sergeants to attend
the Infantry Unit Leaders Course (IULC). While this course fulfills the
resident PME requirements for Staff Sergeants, attendance at the Resident
SNCO Academy Career Course is highly encouraged.
9. MARADMIN
546/01 announces a change to MCO P1553.4A concerning the required
PME for enlisted Marines.
10. Interested
in getting an AA Degree? In partnership with the Life Long Learning
Center aboard Quantico Marine Corps Base, EPME is developing a pilot program
that will allow enlisted Marines to obtain an Associates Degree. For details
