Pryce Statement on Veterans Day

Columbus , Ohio – Today, Congresswoman Deborah Pryce released the following statement in observance of Veterans Day, November 11, 2006.

“Today and tomorrow, America officially honors its 24 million veterans and patriots who served our great nation and advanced freedom’s cause on all corners of the globe. While Veterans Day is our opportunity to remind America of their courage and sacrifice, our esteem and reverence for these heroes burns year round.”

“Over the generations, our nation’s veterans have fought communism, tyranny, fascism and terror across the planet, and risked everything to protect America and our way of life.   From the Green Berets of Company B, 2nd Battalion, 19th Special Forces, whose recent return was celebrated in Columbus yesterday, to the few surviving WWI veterans whose heroism must never be forgotten, and every veteran in between, America salutes you all.”
