Nadler Statement on the Passing of Satmar Grand Rebbe Moshe Teitelbaum |
||||
“It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Rabbi Teitelbaum. The Rebbe of Sainted Memory led an exemplary life. An orphan and a Shoah survivor, the Rebbe was determined not to let the evils of the world sully his deep reverence and spirituality as he rose to lead his community. “As the leader of the worldwide Satmar movement, the Rebbe was an inspirational figure to tens of thousands. His learning, wisdom, and compassion made him a father to his community and a role model to faith leaders everywhere. He will be sorely missed.” ### |
