Air Force Museum
The National Museum of the United States Air Force is located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.  It is operated by the U.S. Air Force and is the national institution for preserving and presenting the Air Force story.  Each the museum welcomes 1.2 million visitors.  The museum is the world’s largest and oldest military aviation museum.  It features more than 300 aircraft and aerospace vehicles in over 17 acres of indoor exhibit space.  Thousands of personal artifacts, photographs and documents highlight the people and events that comprise the Air Force storyline, from the beginnings of military flight to today’s war on terrorism.

Wright Dunbar Neighborhood
The Wright Dunbar Business Village, also known as the West Third Street Historic District, is the neighborhood where the inventors of manned flight and Paul Laurence Dunbar grew up in Dayton.  The area is listed as a historic on the National Register of Historic Places and also includes the headquarters for National Aviation Historical Park within the village and the Paul Laurence Dunbar State Historic Site nearby.

Alverta Green Museum
When longtime Mason resident, Alverta Green, died in 1988, she willed her home to the Mason Historical Society for use as a museum. Alverta Green had a special love of antiques. There is now a shop in the rear of her home. The house has seven areas open to visitors from 1:00 - 4:00 PM, Thursday and Friday, year round. Located in Warren County, between Cincinnati and Dayton.

Blanchester Area Historical Society
The museum and genealogy library is open Wednesday and Saturday 1-4 p.m. on Main Street. Also visit the fine antique shops in Blanchester.

Buffalo Trading Post
Enjoy a captivating look at an 1880s trading post in this wonderful store full of cowboy memorabilia, antiques and collectibles. Also a full tack shop and some museum-quality displays. Hours: Wed-Fri 1-5, Sat and Sun 9-5.

Caesar Creek Lake Visitor Center
The Caesar Creek Lake Visitor Center is located near Caesar Creek Dam, near Waynesville, on 35 acres that include a scenic overlook, nature trails, and outdoor fun. The center offers interpretive galleries and a theater. The center provides information to the public regarding the Corp of Engineers, particularly in the area of water resource management. The center highlights the Ohio River Basin, Caesar Creek Lake, and the area's natural history. Special programs are available to school and tour groups throughout the year. Located in Warren County, between Cincinnati and Dayton. New summer 2003 hours beginning May 26. Weekdays 8am-5pm; weekends 8:30am-5:30pm.

Clinton County Courthouse
Built in 1918, the courthouse is an outstanding example of the Second Renaissance Revival, complete with detailed ornamental plasterwork and a large mural dome. The interior of the dome has been reworked to its 1918 luster as part of a lengthy plan by the commissioners to restore the courthouse. Clinton County Historical Society
The Clinton County Historical Society maintains this county museum which houses sculptures and paintings by world-renowned Quaker artist Eli Harvey, a collection of Quaker clothing dating back to 1820. Genealogies and histories important to the area are also housed in the former residence of General James W. Denver. Denver was known throughout America. After he left Clinton County he became a senator from California, secretary of state, and commissioner for Indian Affairs for President James Buchanan. Denver was immortalized in Colorado when the state capitol was named after him. No trip to Clinton County is complete without visiting Rombach Place.

Clinton County Rails To Trails
29 1/2 miles of abandoned rail lines are being converted into a recreational trail that will be paved - perfect for cyclists, hikers, walkers, and nature lovers. Work continues on this project. 1 1/2 miles are completed to date and run between Mulberry Street and Nelson Avenue in Wilmington.

Fort Ancient
A National Historic Landmark, this 100-acre earthen enclosure near Lebanon is part of a 764-acre park that features vestiges of two prehistoric Native American cultures: the Hopewell and the Fort Ancient peoples. This important archaeological site offers a museum, hiking trails and many scenic views of the surrounding countryside. Ohio Route 350, 7 mi. southeast of Lebanon, Ohio.

Fort Hill State Memorial

Highland County Bicentinnial Barn
Painted in June 2001, this barn is owned by James and Valerie Setty. It is the 60th barn in Ohio to receive the Ohio Bicentennial logo.

Highland County Courthouse
This picturesque courthouse is the oldest courthouse still in use in Ohio. Located at the intersection of Main and High St. in uptown Hillsboro.
Open Monday thru Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Highland House Museum
151 East Main St., Hillsboro, (937) 393-3392. The Highland House was built in 1842-1844 in classic Federal Style architecture and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This handsome museum houses an extensive collection of memorabilia from throughout the area.
Hours: 1:00-5:00 pm Fridays, 1:00-4:00 pm Sundays (March thru December).

La Comedia Dinner Theatre
Six fantastic Broadway shows are presented each year to go along with the superb food. This is dining and theater the way it was meant to be. Ohio Route 73 at 1-75, Springboro, Ohio.

Lynchburg Covered Bridge
Located on Memory Lane at the west end of High Street. One of the few covered bridges left standing in southern Ohio. Ruth Crampton Memorial Park adjoins the bridge as a picnic area. Hours Open: Daylight hours all year round.

Magic Waters Theater
The theatre concentrates on comedies and simple musicals-the sort of things that send you home feeling better than when you arrived. Enjoy live entertainment at this rustic theatre. Mid-June thru Labor Day.

Martinsville Road Covered Bridge
There are not many covered bridges left, but see this beautiful example over Todd's Fork just west of Martinsville in southern Clinton County.

Murphy Theatre
Charles Webb Murphy, who owned the Chicago Cubs during their glory years of 1906-1914, built this landmark in downtown Wilmington's historic district. Built as a monument to Murphy, this theatre boasts a thousand seats and is being restored. Pioneer Farm
Paint Creek State Park, U.S. RT. 50 East of Hillsboro. In order to preserve a portion of Ohio's historic past, this historic farm located at Paint Creek State Park, includes a log house, a collection of log buildings, livestock, gardens, and croplands. The buildings are furnished to create an atmosphere of a working pioneer farm in the early 1800's.

Port William Union Civil War Soldier Memorial
Travel State Route 134 to Port William, then go over the bridge near the dam and turn right. Plaque is on the right. Gilbert VanZandt of Port William was 10 years old when he went to war as a drummer with his father during the Civil War. Little Gib eventually ended up with General Sherman on his march to the sea at the end of the Civil War.

Sabina Historical Society Museum
The museum is located in the former National Bank & Trust drive-through building. The museum is open on Saturdays from 1-4 p.m.

Seven Caves
