of 99 members. Since 1967, legislative districts have been
determined on the basis of population. Every 10 years, following
the federal census, the total population of the state is divided
by 99, to arrive at the approximate population for each district.
In the 125th General Assembly, this figure is approximately
110,000 residents per House district.
