Honoring Those Who Served - Veterans Day 2006
The Army Flag carries 178 battle streamers as it passes on parade with the Stars and Stripes in a color guard. Those streamers are both reminders of and a monument to the selfless service to the millions of Soldiers who have served our country.

AUSA Chapters Approve 2007 Resolutions
One-hundred and twenty-three Association of the United States Army chapters approved AUSA’s 2007 resolutions that included calls for congressional leadership in “providing full, timely and predictable funding to sustain the Army’s national and global commitments” and “of greatest important – maintaining the support of the American people whom the Army serves.”

An Army Stretched Thin
The Army’s active and reserve components are “stretched and strained” in end-strength and unit structure to meet current demands and to prepare for tomorrow, a fact acknowledged on both sides of the aisle on Capitol Hill.

AUSA Author to Participate in Iraq Discussion on ‘Book TV’
AUSA author Kim Olson will participate in a live C-SPAN 2 “Book TV” presentation from noon to 1:30 p.m., Sunday Nov. 12.
