If you live in the Seventh Congressional District of California and are visiting Washington in the next few months, you are welcome to fill out a tour request form. Tours are limited, especially during summer months. Tickets are not guaranteed. Someone from the Washington or Concord District office will contact you if tickets are available for your tour(s). At the moment, tours of the White House, State Department, and FBI Building have been temporarily suspended. Please check back for an update. Tours of the Supreme Court are available on a very limited basis, in groups of four individuals or less. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Public tours of the Capitol Building have resumed, Monday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. A limited number of timed tickets are given out on the east side of the Capitol, one per person, on a first-come, first-serve basis, beginning at 8:15 a.m for tours that same day. Tours are given to groups of 40 each half hour. At this time of year, the line for tickets has been starting very early each morning, between 6 and 7 a.m.
Public tours of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing have also resumed, however the Bureau will be closed December 23- January 6. Same day tickets are available on a first-come, first serve basis at the ticket booth located at 14th and C Streets, SW. The ticket booth opens at 8 a.m., and the line usually starts forming at 7 a.m. for timed tickets between 8 a.m. and 1:45 p.m.
