Etheridge Launches Webpage for Constituent Valentines to the Troops

WASHINGTON -U.S. Rep. Bob Etheridge (D-Lillington) has launched a new webpage to post constituents' Valentine's Day messages to American troops serving overseas.

"North Carolinians are proud of our troops and the work they are doing to protect our great nation. This new section of my website will allow constituents to send Valentine's Day greetings to the troops and to their loved ones serving overseas. I encourage schools, civic organizations, individuals and families in my Congressional district to send their greetings to show the troops our support," said Etheridge.

Constituents may submit their Valentine's Day e-greeting to the troops by sending a short (one minute or less) video via e-mail to egreetings@mail.house.gov by February 13. The e-greetings can be viewed at www.house.gov/etheridge/supportourtroops. Please note that greetings with offensive or inappropriate content will not be posted.

Etheridge has notified the military of the webpage in order to inform the troops of the project.
