WASHINGTON, D.C.—U.S. Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.) commented Friday on the latest jobs report:
“President Ronald Reagan once said that facts are stubborn things.
“Since George W. Bush took office, we’ve lost 900,000 jobs.
“Health care costs have risen by 36 percent.
“College costs have increased by 35 percent and personal bankruptcies are up by 30 percent.
“There’s one thing we can say about George W. Bush and the economy: we will be forever in his debt.” |
