[Washington, DC, June 4, 2003]—Delegate to Congress Donna M. Christensen is pleased to announce that the Law Enforcement Planning Commission (LEPC) has received $1,427,951.

The Department of Justice has given this award as part of the 2003 Edward  Bryne Memorial State and Law Enforcement Assistance Formula Grant Program. This program was designed to assist states and local governments in implementing specific programs that offer a high probability of enhancing and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the justice system.
