In Focus: Iraq War
While I strongly support our troops, I am very concerned about the current state of affairs in Iraq. We saved the Iraqi people from Saddam Hussein, but we cannot save the Iraqi people from the Iraqi people if they are not able and willing to put aside political and religious differences to build a new nation and stand on their own. We must make it clear that Iraqis, not Americans, control their own destiny and they must fight for a democratic future.News
