As you may know, Gillett will celebrate an important anniversary this weekend, marking 100 years since our city was incorporated in 1906. This is a significant milestone for our community and a time for all of us to reflect on our history. I look forward to joining many of you at this celebration on Saturday, May 27th in front of City Hall where we will hold a parade, bury a time capsule, and reflect on the historical achievements of our community.

In preparation for this event, I delivered an official tribute on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives this week highlighting the history of our city. I wanted to share this tribute with each of you, so you may also enjoy the story of Gillett, Arkansas.
