Birmingham -- Ambrice Miller, a senior at the Alabama School of Fine Arts, was selected to represent the 7th Congressional District in the Congressional Art Competition. Ms. Miller will receive an all-expenses paid trip for her and her parents to Washington, DC this summer to see her artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building.

“This competition each year gives Alabama an opportunity to showcase the extraordinary artistic talents of its students”, said U.S. Representative Artur Davis. “I only hope that this competition will continue to grow in the future, so that more students in our district will have an opportunity to further develop their artistic talents.”
