Tour Update
My
name is Michelle Maginot,
and I coordinate tours on behalf of Congressman Pombo. In
addition to arranging tours, I can also send you brochures and itineraries.
I can tell you what attractions are recommended, which museums are kid
friendly and which ones require reservations.
- Unfortunately, due to the elevated level of
security in Washington, the FBI, Pentagon, and Treasury
Department are suspended indefinitely.
Capitol tours are available through our
office, Monday through Friday, or through the Capitol Guide Service.
Capitol Guide Service Tours operate between the hours of
9 a.m. - and 2 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
The White House has resumed public tours. Please
be advised that we need at least 2 months to book most tours and at
least 6 months to book White House and Capitol tours. If we
are able to place you on a White House tour, you will need to
provide full names (with middle initial), social security numbers
and DOB. The White House performs a background check prior to
accepting the tour reservation. Tours operate Tuesday - Saturday. Six
months notice is advised but unfortunately does not guarantee a
reservation on a tour.
-
- To request a tour, please take a
minute to fill out the
Electronic Ticket Request Form.
Tickets are limited, so planning several months in advance is
appreciated.

When
visiting
Washington, please visit our office to introduce yourself and to pick up free passes
for the House and Senate Galleries. We enjoy hearing how we can
better serve you. Please
let us know your thoughts
on places you've visited so we may share them with other
constituents.
