Finding affordable housing in our area can be a challenge, especially for seniors and low-income individuals.  But there are groups in the area that are using innovative and community-based solutions to improve the situation.  As a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee, I have worked with many of them to support their efforts.  The links below will explain more about these programs.

A pilot program that allows a senior to combine a federal Medicaid waiver and a federal housing voucher so that they can receive health care assistance and remain in their own home.
