Seventh Annual South Sound Technology Conference

Technology Advances Enhancing our Daily Lives and Increasing Economic Potential

  • December 8th
  • Carwein Auditorium at the University of Washington-Tacoma
  • Sponsored by U.S. Reps. Norm Dicks and Adam Smith

The conference includes morning and afternoon forums. You may sign up for one or both sessions.

The morning forum, Innovations in Health Care Technology, will provide a discussion on:

  • saving lives and dollars with health care technology
  • technologies driving health IT
  • how health IT could impact the economy – from individuals and businesses seeing lower health care costs to the economics of predictive medicine and other advances for the life sciences

The afternoon forum, Tapping into Clean Technology, will focus on:

  • energy efficiency technologies
  • alternative energy systems
  • economic potential for the Puget Sound region
