From the thriving suburbs and neighborhoods of Butler and Montgomery counties to the rich farmland of Darke, Mercer, Miami, and Preble counties, the Eighth District is one of the most dynamic in the State of Ohio. I am proud to have served my friends and neighbors in the district since 1991.

This site highlights some of the issues I am working on in Congress to help create a smaller, more accountable federal government. As House Majority Leader, I am proud to help lead the efforts to rein in federal spending, restore trust between the American people and their government, reform our schools, ensure greater retirement security, and lower the tax burden for American families, small businesses, and farmers.
