Harris Earns Top Grades For Voting Records

The office of U.S. Representative Katherine Harris (R-FL) today released the results of the 2006 Congressional Scorecards. Many national associations and organizations produce a ratings system to gauge how members of Congress voted on issues of interests to their membership. In addition, listed below the 2006 Congressional Scorecard Ratings is a ratings list from the First Session of the 109th Congress (2005), Lifetime and Up-to-Date ratings.

“It is an honor to be recognized for my voting record on issues that are critically important to the people in my district”, said Harris. “The scorecards reflect my beliefs which include a strong economy, lower taxes, fiscal responsibility, protecting property rights, seniors rights, and personal liberties.”
