Washington, DC – On
Monday, March 13, 2006, Congressman Richard W. Pombo (CA-11) will be a guest
of the Karl Ross Post in Stockton, California, participating in an awards
ceremony and giving a legislative update for area Veterans. The awards
portion of the event will honor WWII Veteran Jack G. Green, and scholar
athlete, Ms. Natalia Dew Wright.

Congressman Pombo will be presenting WWII Veteran Jack G. Green, a resident
of Stockton, California, with the Good Conduct Medal, Navy; World War II
Victory Medal; American Defense Service Medal; American Campaign Medal;
Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal; Honorable Service Lapel Pin and Discharge
Button.
Congressman Pombo will also be presenting Ms.
Natalia Dew Wright, a junior at Amos Alonzo Stagg High School in Stockton,
California, with a Congressional Certificate of Recognition for her
outstanding academic and athletic achievements.
Congressman Richard W. Pombo represents
California's Eleventh Congressional District. Congressman Pombo is Chairman
of the House Resources Committee and serves on the House Agriculture
Committee.
