WesMin RC&D Awarded Compassion Capital Grant

(WASHINGTON, DC) - WesMin Resource Conservation & Development Council has been awarded $45,462 through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Compassion Capital Targeted Capacity Program.

“The people of WesMin RC&D do great work to help create economic development opportunities and partnerships in the 14 counties they serve,” Peterson said.

The grant will be used to build capacity of WesMin RC&D and the RC&D program in Minnesota. This project will diversify and increase leadership opportunities for volunteers and board members within the WesMin RC&D area. It will also provide grant management training and donor development for staff.

WesMin serves the counties of Becker, Clay, Douglas, Grant, Pope, Todd, Wadena, Wilkin, Cass, Crow Wing, Otter Tail, Morrison, Stevens and Traverse.
