Marshall Airport Awarded Funds for Runway Extension

(WASHINGTON, DC) - Congressman Collin Peterson announced that Southwest Minnesota Regional Airport-Ryan Field has been awarded a grant for $4.92 million to complete their runway extension.

“This funding is key to completion of the airport expansion,” Peterson said. “Marshall’s airport is a critical part of the region’s transportation infrastructure, and I’m very pleased that this grant money came through for them.”

The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Transit Administration provided funding for this discretionary grant.
