Fergus Falls Airport Awarded Grant to Update Master Plan

(WASHINGTON, DC) - U.S. Rep. Collin Peterson announced that the Fergus Falls Municipal Airport-Einar Mickelson Field, has been awarded $114,000 from the Federal Aviation Administration to update the airport master plan study.

“The Fergus Falls airport is a busy facility that is a critical link in the transportation infrastructure of this region,” Peterson said. “It’s important to look ahead to plan for future needs of this airport.”

The updated master plan/airport layout plan will schematically show existing conditions and will identify and evaluate further development alternatives for the airport.
