It is important that America's veterans receive the health care, disability compensation and other benefits they have earned. Congressman Brown's Veterans Services page puts links to federal, state, and local resources all on one page to maximize convenience and keep you informed of proposals or changes affecting veterans’ programs.
The federal government makes grant funding available to support a wide variety of policy objectives. The Grants can provide information that may help you find a grant for your organization.
Congressman Brown is authorized by law to nominate constituents for appointment to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, or the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at King's Point. U.S. Flags are available for purchase through Congressman Brown's office. At your request and with sufficient notice, the flag can be flown over the U.S. Capitol building in honor of a person or event.
If you have a worn or faded flag, you can drop it off at Congressman Brown's Lorain County or Summit County offices. The Congressman's office will make sure that the flag is given to a veterans' organization so that it can be properly destroyed in accordance with the Flag Code.
