Job Summary
The Office of House information Resources, Network Engineering and Configuration Branch, Chief Administrative Office, is seeking a qualified network administrator. Successful candidate should have extensive experience with standards-based Wide Area Network (WAN) networking components (such as routers, switches, access servers, modems), protocols (such as FDDI, ATM, ISDN, Frame Relay) and network management troubleshooting and monitoring tools and network protocols. Knowledge of WAN Cisco based network technologies required; hands-on experience with configuration, installation, maintenance of networking components such as routers, switches, access servers required; experience with network management troubleshooting and monitoring tools and network and routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP, IEEE 802.x Ethernet, IPSec) required; experience with Cisco IOS and Catalyst OS preferred. VPN administration, troubleshooting and support experience required. Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) are desired.
