Job Summary

The Chief Administrative Office Advanced Business Solutions center is seeking a Senior Business Process Applications Specialist with a broad range of experience in the implementation and sustainment of ERP systems. This individual will be actively involved in the implementation and sustainment of PeopleSoft Procure to Pay, Inventory Management, Asset Management and Enterprise Performance Management at the United States House of Representatives. This individual is required to have a thorough understanding of functional aspects of ERP software implementation and sustainment activities (e.g. business analysis, planning, design and enhancements). The successful candidate will participate as a senior member of the project team and will be involved in all phases of development of automated ERP processes, which includes devising new or alternative information handling procedures to take best advantage of available technology. He or she will coordinate with individuals both internal and external to the organization with a broad set of backgrounds to identify opportunities for improvement to these processes as well as lead efforts to implement these improvements.

Requirements:

A minimum of five years experience working with automated financial management and logistics systems, preferably Federal financial systems, is required. A broad knowledge of PeopleSoft as well as procure to pay, inventory management and asset management business processes is preferred. This individual should possess the ability to work well with others, as he or she will review work products and provide technical direction to other staff as necessary. An ability to plan effectively and to execute plans efficiently and on schedule is essential. Candidates should also possess an exceptional ability to communicate effectively and deal professionally with senior staff, information systems professionals, and other non-technical users. A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting and/or Computer Science or equivalent experience is required. An MBA and/or professional certification(s) are preferred.
